As our president, Natalie, described in a previous letter; “Town Halls will be an opportunity to have your voice heard and to become more active in what happens in our community without having to make larger time commitments. All voices are important and we want to hear what you have to say.” Each Town Hall will be facilitated by the Director of Community Affairs, Megan Quinn, in partnership with one or more fellow board members.
Our intention for the Town Hall is to provide a space for board members and community members to be in generative dialogue, to provide transparency, open communication, and opportunities for collaboration. We want WWE members to become engaged with the day to day operations and decision making of the organization; in turn, board members will experience inspiration, support, and in service to the community, creating a reciprocal relationship that brings us all higher.
Our first Town Hall will be in communion with the Director of Circles, Melissa Wilson. We will discuss all things Circle- the why, the how, and the support available to you. We are excited for this dialogue and we want to hear from you.
Do you have questions about Circle? Come and ask. Do you have ideas? Come and share. Do you wonder about what your Circle can do as a group? Come and learn. Maybe you don’t have questions yet would like connection to our Woman Within Eastern community; come and say hello to old friends and meet new friends of our community.
